Q-Tax Doctor Commercial
Surge Media is excited to launch two, thirty second commercials for Q-Tax, which will be shown at cinemas and on regional television. The brief was to create humorous commercials utilising a 3D version the Q-Tax mascot, ‘The Doctor’. This was a challenge as the Doctor only existed as a flat image but Surge Media was keen to take it on. Through a rigorous sketching, storyboarding and modelling process Surge Media created a 3D Doctor that stayed true to the original design and that also had a voice and personality that was inline with Q-Tax’s image.
QTRAX App
Surge Media produced a thirty and fifteen second television commercial promoting QTAXs QTRAX app.The commercial is a follow on from a previous QTAX commercial we created, featuring the same animated characters. The ad includes motion graphics demonstrating how the app works and uses animation and humour to convey the message.
Find Your Treasure
Surge Media partnered with Q-Tax to produce their 2017 tax time commercial. This video has a light hearted spin on it by likening Q-Tax agents to treasure hunters waiting to secure their customers treasure. This theme, combined with simple, colourful animation allowed for easy engagement with customers across a broad target audience.
